A passion for ceramic arts for over 150 years
Maison Delhoume was founded in 1858 in Limoges to exploit the kaolin quarries of the Haute-Vienne region, a basic component for the manufacture of porcelain. Limoges is, along with Sèvres, the main porcelain production site in France. Becoming Ceradel, a contraction of "CERAmiques DELhoume" in 1966, the company was acquired in 1988 by the mining giant KPCL (now IMERYS) and then sold in its current form in 2007. In 2021, Ceradel joined the Harry Développement group, the European leader in the distribution of products and equipment for professional potters and amateur ceramists, alongside the Belgian Colpaert, the British Potterycrafts, before being joined by the Dutch Hazelaar. A long and rich history in the ceramic arts that today makes Ceradel the benchmark in the French market.
